STAINLESS STEEL (S.S.) CORRUGATED
FLEXIBLE METALLIC HOSE
SPECIFICATION :BS 6501 Part - 1


Construction	:	Flexible tubing, single continuous metallic wall, without packing, annular corrugation hydraulically formed.
Profile	:	Medium & close pitch corrugation.
Size Range	:	6mm ID. upto 350mm ID.
Pressure Range	:	Upto 150kg/cm2 or higher against specific requirement. The pressure value indicated in the table is function of the diameter, of the temperature, of the number of braids, of the material used and of the type of application.
Temperature	:	-200ºC to +800ºC
MATERIALS
Inner Core	:	Austenitic Stainless Steel AISI 321/304/316, upon request & for quantity to be agreed upon, fittings can made of all materials which can be Tig/Argon Gas Welded.
Braid	:	With on or two wire braids of AISI 304/321.
End Fittings	:	Tig/Argon gas welded.
APPLICATION
The SS Flexible hose is suitable for all those application of conveyance of fluids or gas, where problems of pressure, vacuum, temperature, vibrations & corrosion exist. The main application of SS hose assembly is where inter lock metal hose, synthetic rubber hose, plastic hose does not give satisfactory performance. These S. S. Flexible hoses can be put to service in Refineries, Chemical industries , Power plant, Reactor installation, steel plant & many other type of industries to convey oil, gasoline, LPG, toluene, benzene, petrol, alcohol, LSHS. steam, other derivatives & highly corrosive chemicals.
